Decorating with Decoupage offers a beautiful range of papers from all over the world. Beside our extensive 50x 70cm Decoupage ‘wraps’, our current product range also includes Art Prints, Collage Sheets, Rice Papers, Japanese Papers, Decals, Napkins and so much more. All the products you see are available now and we update the site regularly as required. We have no minimum purchase requirements – order as little or as many papers as you like.

Whilst our papers have been traditionally used for Decoupage, they are also suitable for many other crafts, Eg Paper Tole, Scrapbooking, Card Making, Altered Tag Art, Candle decorating and naturally gift wrapping! If you need any inspiration or craft ideas, please visit our Gallery where you will find many different creations from our customers.

Now for a bit of history…

Decorating with Decoupage was originally established as a craft shop in the Blue Mountains area of Sydney, Australia. Many customers remember this shop for the beautiful decoupaged floor which was unfortunately destroyed in a fire. Luckily with a new owner (Penny), and a new place to store all the papers, the wide range of papers was still available to everyone through the web site which is still active today.

My story starts in early 2002, when a friend and I started making art/craft items to sell at the local market. We created a variety of things, but mostly made coasters using any paper that we could find. In April I discovered DecorDeocupage whilst browsing on the internet – I thought I was in paper heaven! We started purchasing all our papers through Penny until late 2002 when she decided it was time to move on and try new things.

After hearing this news, I was immediately thinking of how I could continue on the business. I felt Decorating with Decoupage was perfect for me as it combined my love for crafts and computers (and I also wanted access to all those papers!). I knew there were many customers out there who enjoyed the website as much as me, so it would have been a shame to see it disappear.

From January 2003 the papers were moved to the ‘Sutherland Shire’ (South Sydney), where I continue to run the business from home.

July 2014 because of family commitments Dannielle sold the busines to Denise Painter, a practising Decoupeur for over 20 years – the studio moved to the Pymble the North Shore of Sydney.  It is interesting to note that the life of Decorating with Decoupage has come full cirle.  Denise was a frequent visitor to original busines located in the Blue Mountains and in fact the owner also attended lessons with Denise.
